“Fueron una de las bandas más influyentes en el rock de los ’90. Eran originales, talentosos, agresivos y encima componían excelentes canciones. Todo lo hicieron bien (hasta separarse en el momento justo) y tuvieron el prestigio que se merecían. Son esa típica banda de culto que nunca va a perder vigencia. Fueron renovadores en todo (discos, letras y canciones) algo poco común en el rock actual”. (Juan)

“Estuvieron mucho más lejos que todas las bandas que estaban en escena en ese momento. Eran cuatro músicos talentosos (Joey Santiago fue y será el guitarrista “alternativo” por excelencia). Hubo un antes y un después de Pixies”. (Marcos)

“Cuando ellos se separaban, nosotros recién empezabamos a tocar. Juan tenía los cassettes grabados (los discos no se conseguían) y al principio no me cerraban, no entendía nada, pero no dejaban de llamarme la atención. Al mes no dejaba de escucharlos.
